I just installed Fedora 15 Linux on an Asus Eee PC T101MT and the touchscreen works, with no additional package installation or anything. First try. The version of Fedora 15 I installed defaults to GNOME 3. I don't know if that is why this works or if is is some other...something. I recently installed Fedora 14 on the same machine and the touchscreen responded to touch but didn't work correctly. I got similar results with other Linux distributions on this machine.
Hats off to Fedora! I am very happy I can use the touchscreen in Linux on this machine now!
