Psystar Died Its Expected Death At The Hands Of Apple

The only surprise was that it took a little longer than expected.

Way back in the early months of this blog I predicted Psystar would be sued out of existence by Apple for making Mac clones. Over the last year it became clear this was exactly what was happening. The process Apple started a few months after Psystar announced their clone products had the desired effect this past summer when Psystar's web presence disappeared.

It wouldn't have kept them alive, but you would think they would have been motivated to play nice with the OSx86 community, who made their clone venture possible. I guess not.

This is sad all around. Nobody wins.
