Apple Is So Going To Sue These People

PsyStar, a technology company in Florida, is selling a white box PC specifically spec'ed to run Mac OS X Leopard. They are marketing it as a cost-effective alternative to buying Apple's notoriously pricey hardware. Apple has sued over less. Repeatedly.

But here is, right in PsyStar's web store.

What guarantees legal action is that they will pre-install Leopard for you. They sell you the boxed version of the OS, so there isn't any real bootlegging going on, but selling the OS on non-Apple hardware is specifically prohibited in Apple's OS license agreement. I really don't know why they think they can get away with this.

Maybe it's a hoax.
